Project Kiwi Care is an Explore NZ initiative, a charitable trust formed to provide financial support to local conservation projects including Project Island Song.

Project Island Song
Project Island Song is a major ecological restoration programme.

Planting trees and releasing rare and endangered birds are helping the islands of the Bay return to their former natural glory. The vision of Project Island Song is both to restore native wildlife habitats by removing pest species and to reintroduce birds and plant species to the islands. Also the project aims to promote through education, research and public awareness the enjoyment of native fauna and flora.
